USE IT TO CLEAN TILE GROUT

Get a small container and mix 4 tbsp of cream of tartar and 4 cups of vinegar together. After doing this get an old toothbrush (dip it inside the mixture) and use it to scrub the tile grouts. Be careful and make sure not to use this mixture on tiles that are easily damaged. After you scrub the tile grouts, get a damp cloth and wipe away the mixture residue.

CAN BE USED TO CLEAR/CLEAN YOUR DRAINS

Mix together 4 tbsp of cream of tartar with 2 1/2 cups of vinegar. After mixing the two pour the mixture into the drain then use warm water to flush it down.

Doing this will definitely get rid of the stains.

USE IT TO CLEAN STAINLESS STEEL

USE DISH SOAP

Squeeze around 5-7 drops of dish soap (dawn)into the toilet. Then let it sit there for 15-20 mins. Then add some warm water into the bowl and let it sit there. Give it some time and your toilet will begin to unclog.

USE VINEGAR

Do the same thing I did with the dish soap except for this time just use 3 cups of vinegar.

TOILET BRUSH

This method isn’t really all that effective but you can still try. Just use the toilet brush to clean inside the drain and hopefully it helps to clear it.

USE DRANO

Just pour around 1 cup of Drano max build-up remover into the bowl and let it sit there until your toilet is unclogged.

SPRAY WITH VINEGAR

Just spray the areas where you normally see ants gather. If you have a garden that’s prone to ants and other insects just spray the leaves and the roots of the plants and that should keep them away for a while.

DIY ANT REPELLANT

What you need:

  • 2 TBSP of Borax
  • 1/2  cup of warm water
  • 1/4 cup of sugar

Mix the ingredients together and place the mixture into a small lid container. Then place the container where you normally see ants. All the ants will come running towards this mixture but will get destroyed doing so.

USE A DRAWER ORGANIZER

Using a dresser organizer is a great way to sectionalize your clothes in your drawers. It also makes your drawers look way more organized. You can get your drawer organizer right here. Be sure to measure the height and width of your drawers before you buy.

Diy Version

To make your own DIY version all you need to do is, get 3 – 4 pieces of cardboard and set them vertically inside your drawers to make sure they fit (also make sure they hit the back and front of the drawers). This will also give you a good idea of how they should look. Now get another 2-3 pieces of short cardboard and put them vertically in between the other cardboard boxes that were in the drawers (make sure that the new cardboard pieces are glued in the middle of the other cardboard boxes).

After doing this you will now have your very own drawer organizer.

FOLD CLOTHES PROPERLY

All you need to do is make sure that you fold your clothes enough so that they don’t take up too much space. A folding trick I know is that you can fold then roll them up. This will make you have even more space.

GROUP ITEMS BY CATEGORY

This really simple just put tops together, underwear together, etc. If you want to get even more creative you can sort by colors instead. But be sure that you have enough space for that.

HANG SOME CLOTHES IN THE CLOSET

This is what I do for all the clothes that I go out in. Just simply hang them in your closet. This will make your drawers look organized and have more space.

What’s the deal with all that clutter? Clutter is always a cause of something we’re doing or something we’re not doing. Clutter means to fill or heap in a disorderly manner. Is that the description of your home?

The reason why your home is cluttered could be any of the following scenarios, don’t have the time, kids, hoarding, lazy, don’t mind it at all. Did I get any of those right?

WHY YOUR HOME IS CLUTTERED

A busy lifestyle can cause a messy home, but it all depends on how organized you are. Yep, it all comes down to how your home is organized. Whether you’re dealing with a ton of kids or how busy you are, there’s always something you can do about having a cluttered home.

THIS CAN DRIVE YOU CRAZY AND INTO THE ER

Did you know that a cluttered home can cause respiratory issues to developed? If you or anyone around you suffer from a breathing problem this can have you spending more cash and time at the doctor.

WHEN YOU NEED TO DECLUTTER

Know these signs. If you’re having a hard time finding items, little or no space to move around, can’t invite friends or family over, Musky air, roaches, and rodents, bed bugs. These signs mean it time to declutter your home ASAP.

LETS DECLUTTER YOUR HOME

CONTAINERS…You’ll be needing all the boxes and storage containers you can get your hands on. Spend a few days gathering these. Remember, decluttering may take more than a day, so boost yourself.

READY TO BEGIN- PASSAGES AND FLOORS

Start by clearing the floor and passageways. You’ll be needing space to move around. Tripping may come into play if you don’t do this. We are trying our best not to call 911.

1.THE BEDROOM IS THE FIRST TO GO DOWN

Remove all that you have in the closet. Pick out the items you’ll are using and separate them from the ones you’re not. “Using” is the word we are focusing on. Toss all the items you’re not using into a container. You may want to label these containers to be on the safe side.

2.TRASH THESE ITEMS…

Old handbags, empty perfume bottles, old shoes, unused clothes, old combs and brushes, books etc. Place these into a labeled container. Check on your bed linens. Only hang on to things you use at least once per month otherwise out the door it goes flying.

3.THINGS NOT NEEDED RIGHT AWAY

These are items you’ll be needing but not using every day. Place these in carefully labeled containers and place them in a clean clear space. You can return to these whenever they are needed.

Do this for all the rooms in your home with the name of the room and the content on the container. This makes it easy for you to located items when you need them. As you can see there are items you’ll be needing but not right away these don’t have to be in your everyday space.

4.LIVING ROOM

Did you clear the floor in this area? if not start picking items off the floor. Check for decoration clutter, toss the ones that are outdated it may just be time to upgrade to the more modern types. Keep the ones that are sentimental, meaning there’s a story behind it and it fits in.

*Remove everything out of the living room

*Tweak dysfunctional items

*Purge the entire area if you must

*Replace only needed items

If your living room is used for multiple purposes then zoning would be just what you need. Create small spaces in your living room that only hold items for their purpose.

The living room should be the easiest room in the home to declutter, All it takes is a purge and redecorating and placing and keeping things in their places when they are through using.

5.KITCHEN

I know the kitchen is where the fun of decluttering runs out. After all, almost everything in the kitchen is usable. Even though this is quite true there are items there that are corroding the area and you can do without.

For utensils such as your pots pans and storage containers, these are to be inspected carefully. Toss the ones that are old and again not being used. Too many of these can clutter your kitchen.

Minimalize the entire area by removing excess plates and cups. Place and keep everything in their designated space. One important tip to remember is to place items back in their place when you’re through using them. The smaller amount you have visible the less clutter your kitchen will be.

The good thing about decluttering is redecorating. This is the time you realized that most of the clutter that was taking up so much space was junk or simply not needed by you. You can choose to have a yard sale or just donate these items to someone who will use them every day.

USE IT TO MAKE YOUR SINK LOOK SHINY AND CLEAN

You need to make sure the sink is wet. After you make the sink wet you should sprinkle 1-2 cups of BFK(bar keeper’s friend) in it, then use a wet cloth to wipe the sink. After doing that you should rinse the sink with water. Your sink will look very clean and shiny after doing this.

GREAT FOR CLEANING STOVETOP

For this, it’s best to use a Barkeeper’s Multipurpose cooktop cleaner. What you need to do is get a damp sponge and squeeze a few drops of BFK multipurpose cooktop cleaner on it. Now use the sponge to clean the stove. After doing this your stove will be looking cleaner than before.

CLEANS STAINLESS STEEL PANS VERY WELL

The best way to clean any stainless steel pans is to use a BFK powder cleanser.  What you need to do is to sprinkle 1 cup of BFK inside the pot, then use a damp sponge to scrub both inside and outside the pot. After doing that you need to soak inside the pot with warm water for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes rinse the pot with water.

USE IT TO CLEAN SHOWER DOORS

Apply a small amount of BFK to a wet sponge and use it to wipe the shower door. After that, you should wait about 7 mins, then rinse the shower door with water. Then use a dry cloth to wipe the glass.

USE IT TO CLEAN THE TOILET

This is very simple. All you need to do is pour 1 cup of  BFK into the toilet then let it sit there for 10 minutes. After 10 mins use a toilet brush to clean inside the toilet, then flush. This will make inside your toilet look way cleaner than before.
