I could write long list of cleaning hacks but, why when i could share these 6 cleaning hacks that professionals don’t want you to know. I use them ever so often to maintain a clean home, So, with no further ado, here they are!
1. SOAK TOILET BRUSH INTO DISINFECTANT
Pour 1/2 cup of fabuloso disinfectant into the toilet brush holder (make sure it has no holes for leakage). Every time you put back your toilet brush into the holder it will deodorize it.
2. USE RUBBING ALCOHOL AND VINEGAR TO CLEAN MIRRORS AND WINDOWS
Mix together 1 cup of vinegar with 1/2 cup of rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle. Then add 2 cups of water to it as well. Now used this mixture to clean your windows and mirrors. Be sure to use a microfiber cloth when cleaning them.
3. CLEAR DRAINS WITH BAKING SODA AND VINEGAR
Pour 3 cups of baking soda into the drain and then pour 3 cups of baking soda into it. Then add some water to flush away the baking soda residue.
4. MAKE A CLEANING SPRAY
Get a spray bottle and fill it halfway up with water. Now add the following:
- 1 cup of rubbing alcohol
- 1 cup of vinegar
- 2 tbsp of dish soap
Mix these together. Now you have your own all-purpose cleaning spray.
5. DEODORIZE SHOES WITH BABY POWDER
Sprinkle some baby powder inside your shoes and let it sit there overnight. After doing this your shoes will smell a lot better.
6. REMOVE CLOTHE STAINS WITH OXI CLEAN
Just wash your stained clothes with oxi clean (about 2-3 scoops). Your clothes will no longer have any stains on them.
7. QUICKLY DEODORIZE YOUR KITCHEN BIN WITHOUT WASHING
To prevent bad odors from exploding in your kitchen whenever you open the bin simply sprinkle a bit of Pine-sol on 4 sheets of paper towel. Next, squeeze into a ball and place it in the bottom of the bin or toss in with the trash.
Do this every time you change the trash bag and you will not have that reeking smell anymore.
However, with that’ being said, don’t forget to wash the bin at least once ever two weeks.
