Hydrogen peroxide is mostly used to kill bacteria and germs in wounds. But it also great at cleaning things as well. It is really convenient and cheap to use.

And also it’s not as harsh as rubbing alcohol. So here are some alternate ways you can use hydrogen peroxide.

.

1.CAN BE USED  AS MOUTH WASH

If you are someone who brushes their teeth and floss a lot and still wants the inside of your mouth to be extra clean. Then you are just like me, and this tip will help you.

Hydrogen peroxide is a good product for things like this because it kills bacteria and germs, which means it can also be used as a mouth wash.

Just rinse inside your mouth with it for 1 minute. This will definitely get rid of all the yucky germs in your mouth.

2.REMOVE CARPET STAINS

Carpet stains are something that most people have to do deal with. No matter how you try not to stain your carpets, something eventually happens which causes them to get messy, for example, spilled drink or sauce or maybe entering from outside with your shoes on.

Trust me no one likes an awful looking carpet, but here’s when hydrogen peroxide comes in to save the day.

You should attach a spray nozzle on your hydrogen peroxide bottle then spray on the stains. Yes, that’s it, it’s really simple. By doing this the stains will disappear leaving you with a beautiful carpet.

3. DIY TILE CLEANER

Dirty tiles is something that I really hate looking at. Especially if they have a bright color because this will make the dirtiness stand out more.

If you are like me and you hate to see when your tiles look dirty you should try this simple hack. Get a soft sponge or cloth, dip either one fo them in a bucket of water mixed with hydrogen peroxide.

Then scrub the floor as hard as you can. In a few minutes, you will realize that the dirt and grime will start to disappear. Your tile floors should be looking clean and shiny after doing this.

.4.WHITEN NAILS

Pearly white nails are really beautiful to look at, maybe because no one likes it when their nails look brown and dirty. As someone who always has dirty nails, this hack that I’m about to tell you is really helpful to me.

This hack is really simple and easy if you just follow along.

What you need to do is mix 1/2 cup of baking soda with 1 cup of water and 1 /2 cup of hydrogen peroxide. Dip the tip of an old toothbrush in the mixture and start scrubbing your fingernails. Remember not to scrub too hard because you don’t want to damage your nails.

After doing this wash the baking soda residue off your nails. Your nails will look pearly white after doing this.

5.REMOVE STAINS FROM CLOTHES

No one likes stain clothing. Let’s be honest no one likes to know that the shirt or blouse they spent a lot of money on is now ruined because they spilled sauce all over it. It’s even worse when the clothing is white.

So if you have stains on your clothes, don’t worry because hydrogen peroxide can remove them. Just follow this trick. Add dish soap and hydrogen peroxide in a container.

Use a toothbrush to scrub the stained area. There will be no more stains on your clothes after doing this.

6.USE IT TO CLEAN YOUR TOOTHBRUSH

Hydrogen peroxide is probably my favorite DIY product. Because you can do so much with it. You can even clean your toothbrush with it. You might be asking “don’t we all clean our toothbrushes when we are rinsing them under the faucet “.

Well yes, you are not wrong but that still won’t clean your toothbrush properly. To clean your toothbrush properly just do the following.

Fill a container with 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide and place the head of the toothbrush in it. Leave it in the hydrogen peroxide for 5 minutes. In no time, you will have a clean toothbrush without having to use any harmful chemicals.

7.USE IT CLEAN WINDOWS AND MIRRORS

This trick is very simple to do. All you have to do is add a spray nozzle that fits on the hydrogen peroxide bottle. Spray the windows and mirrors around your house. Then use a microfibre cloth wipe them.

Your windows and mirrors will look very clean after doing this.

To clean your fruits properly with hydrogen peroxide, you should do the following. Get a large dish and fill half of it with water. Next, pour 2 cups of hydrogen peroxide in the water. Place the fruits in the container and leave them in it for 10-20 minutes.

Your fruits will be clean and edible after doing this hack. This trick also works on vegetables.

9.CLEAN TOILET

If you are like me and hate to look at a messy toilet. Well, this is the hack for you. All you have to do is pour 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide directly in the toilet. Then use a toilet brush to clean inside of it.

This will not only clean the toilet but it will also deodorize it as well.

10. EASILY CLEANS BAKING SHEETS

Removing baked-on grease from baking sheets can be a difficult task. I’m sure I’m not the only one who hates removing them. I will show you a simple trick.

Get a soft damp sponge, then sprinkle baking soda on the sponge. Pour 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide on the baking sheet.

Now use the sponge and scrub the baking sheet, you will realize that the baked-on grease will start to disappear. Your baking sheets will look spotless after doing this.

11.DIY BLEACH

If you’re out of bleach or you don’t like the harmful chemicals from them, with this simple method you can create your very own homemade bleach in no time.

With this, you can remove tough stains from bright colored materials such as clothes, bedroom sheets,  and curtains.

To create this, you need to mix 1 cup of water, with 1/2 cup of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. I’ve tried this hack as an experiment and was shocked to realize that it worked almost as good as a regular beach.

12. can be used as a deodorizer

Just simply apply a spray nozzle onto the hydrogen peroxide bottle and add a bit of water in it and spray it into the air in your home. be sure not spray it onto any delicate fabric or furniture.
