Ovens can get dirty really easily especially on the inside. Sometimes not cleaning your oven when you’re finished using it can cause stuff to start building up in it, which can cause inside the oven to smoke. To properly clean your oven the right way you need to follow these simple steps.

.

STEP 1

Scrub the insides of the oven with a sponge. Make sure to use dawn dish soap on the sponge so that it has a lot of suds.

STEP 2

Get a clean cloth and put 4 cork full of hydrogen peroxide on it. Make sure the cloth is damped with hydrogen peroxide and wipe the soap residue away.

STEP 3

If there are baked on grease in your oven and the dawn dish soap didn’t remove them. Try sprinkling borax on a hard sponge and start scrubbing the area.

STEP 4

Dip a soft damp clean cloth in 1 cup of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide (1/2 cup of vinegar and 1/2 cup of Hydrogen peroxide).

After doing this use the cloth to wipe the glass on the oven door. The oven glass will be looking clean after doing this.

STEP 5

Clean oven racks by either cleaning them in the sink or let them soak in the bathtub. If you are cleaning them in the sink you are going to need a sponge (or anything that scrubs hard).

Sprinkle a lot of borax and dawn on the sponge and start cleaning the racks. If you are putting them in the sink, Pour about 2 cups of vinegar, 3 cups of borax and 2 cups of dawn in the water. Make sure the water is enough to cover the racks(but make sure it’s not a lot).

STEP 6

Place the racks back in the oven.

By doing all these steps you will not only have a cleaner looking oven but also a better smelling one.
